What is GRS Global Certification?
The Global Recycle Standard (GRS for short) for textiles and clothing was originally formulated by the Netherlands Regulatory Union and implemented in November 2008. It is a third-party certification standard for the use of recycled fibers after the recycling of waste textiles. In January 2011, the Netherlands Regulatory Union transferred the copyright of the global recycling standard of textiles and clothing to the most influential American textile exchange in the world.
